Great questions.

Firstly how big you’ll look in clothes is dependent on the amount of muscle mass you carry on your frame. You will build muscle with this routine and therefore fill out your clothes a bit.

Honest though, Why do you care how big you look in clothes?

You should really care about how muscular you look out of clothes?

The leaner you get, the bigger and more muscular you will look when naked.

Remember bodybuilding is an illusion. Strip the fat and you’ll look bigger.

I also had some fat on my chest area, would this workout help with that?

I’m around 5’9-5’10 and 145-50. Without a shirt, I still have some fat on my stomach. Will this workout make me look bigger in clothes, or will I look skinnier in clothes? Additionally, my legs are relatively big already (I was a runner), so can I skip out on my legs (calves/thighs)?

Thanks so much.

Without actually seeing your physique, it’s hard to say with complete certainty. It depends on your current level of muscle mass and Leaness.

Do I have to bulk to achive this physique or can I start where I stand now?

Keep in mind the goal with warm-up sets is to prepare the target muscles & joints for the heavier weights to come. I’d stick with a range of around 6-8 and 2-3 sets. Hope that clears things up.

I’m wondering how many reps should we do for the warm up sets?

In short, I’d pretty much stick to the same template. Just increase the overall volume via sets and reps to get some additional hypertrophy going and focus on adding some “pumping” exercises for areas like the biceps and shoulders.

I go for contrast showers myself.
Funny thing is, after a few minutes of hot, then a change to cold…
Well, the cold gets to feel REALLY good, too.

Maybe I don’t go cold enough, I’m not sure. ;-)
But I can stay in the COLD shower for 15 minutes as easily as the warm one…
